How It Works

Our website development process is quick and easy.

1. Tell us a little about yourself and how your business works.

First, we'll meet for a free 30-min strategy call to discuss your business needs and how your website can best support your goals.If we agree it's a good fit, we'll move forward by helping you select a design & hosting plan and we'll begin the process of building your new website!

2. Complete our Website Pre-Build Form and share your content with us.

Next, you'll gather together all the photos, videos, and text that you'd like displayed on your website and share them to us via our easy-to-use Website Pre-Build Form. (Don't worry, we'll help you with this part if you need!)We'll also have you tell us where we can find your social media accounts and any other websites affiliated with your business so we can gather content from there as well.

3. Kick back and relax while our team lays out your new website.

In seven days or less we'll turn around a fully functional draft of your website for your review, featuring the photos, videos, and copy that you shared with us during Step 2.If you have additional content to share with us at this stage, you can email it directly to us at support@cardwebsites.com.

4. Review your draft website and point out any changes you'd like us to make.

Once we've shared our draft of your new website with you, you'll have the chance to provide us with feedback via our Website Review Form. This form helps us keep track of the changes you'd like made.Once we receive the form from you, we'll head back to the drawing table to make your changes and return the finished version of your website to you.

5. Publish your website and share it with the world!

Finally, after your requested changes have been made and we've received your final approval on the website, we will go ahead and publish the website, making it available for the world to see at the domain name that you selected during Step 1.We'll then get you set up with your custom branded email address powered by Google, and we will schedule a training call to show you how to log in, use your email, and make minor edits to your website going forward.

All Card Website plans include one free domain registration for .com/.org/.net domains in our standard pricing tier (<$15/yr). Premium domain names may be purchased for an additional fee and may incur additional recurring charges. All plans also include one free Business Starter subscription to Google Workspace, which includes branded email and access to Google Calendar, Drive, and other apps powered by Google. Add additional emails for $6/user/month, or upgrade to Business Standard for $12/user/month.
